At CORE MOTORSPORTS GMBH, we are committed to transparent pricing and compliance with German and EU VAT (Value Added Tax) regulations. This VAT Policy explains how VAT is applied to orders placed with us, both within Germany, the European Union (EU), and internationally.
2. VAT Charges
- Within Germany: All orders shipped to addresses in Germany are subject to German VAT at the standard rate of 19% (or any prevailing rate at the time of purchase).
- Within the European Union (EU): Orders shipped to other EU countries are also subject to VAT, charged at the German rate unless the buyer is a VAT-registered business in their own EU country (in which case a reverse charge mechanism may apply).
- Outside the EU: Orders shipped outside the EU are not charged VAT by us. However, customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, and local taxes upon delivery.
3. VAT for Business Customers (EU)
If you are an EU business customer with a valid VAT ID number:
- You may be eligible to purchase goods without VAT under the EU reverse charge system.
- Your VAT ID will be verified, and the invoice will be issued accordingly.

4. VAT Invoices
- All orders come with a VAT-compliant invoice showing the breakdown of VAT charges.

5. VAT Refunds (Non-EU Customers Visiting Germany)
If you are a non-EU customer purchasing in-store and taking goods out of the EU, you may be eligible for a VAT refund under the “Tax-Free Shopping” scheme.
- Proof of export is required.
- Refunds are processed according to German customs regulations.
